Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories are of attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mom do her job. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. The early stage work she did included at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto for her acting to progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. The couple renewed their vows April 10th 2011 at Fredericton at the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, in 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the third season finale episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN has named Bo's character alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples ever. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter because of its success.
