Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible as the pioneer of modern studies of the memory of witnesses and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman published widely and has won numerous grants, and has received many national and international awards. She has consulted with numerous government agencies and governments across the globe on policy and research concerning child victims in the legal system. She also serves as a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional associations such as that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policies and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Professor Goodman is a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She has been president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division as well as three divisions of Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
