Alaina Suddeth is daughter of Kristy Suddeth (Rossville, Georgia) and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina began to sing when she was just three years old. The first time she sang in public was a singing in a choir for children as well as at the venue for karaoke for a family vacation. She performed in places like restaurants, churches, events for families, and anywhere within 30 miles from her home. Alaina participated with her first Southern Stars Pageant at 8 and took the crown. The following year, she appeared on the Kids Talent Stage during the Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. Performances on the stage continued to be enjoyed until the 12th birthday of her, when she became the winner of a competition which enabled her perform on the big stage. At the age of 10 years old, she went to Orlando to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. The event was won by her who beat 1,500 other kids. Alaina performed with Georgia Country Gospel Music Association Children's Choir. Alaina was twelve when she first made trip to Nashville. She performed at Tootsie's as well as other bars in Broadway. in 2009 Alaina was the first winner of the WinniSTAR youth talent contest at Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition the stage, Alaina wrote several songs like Leaving and the song Set Me Free. Alaina was in awe of singing by her aunt, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Before Idol, Alaina worked at CiC's Pizza. She was a student at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia as a cheerleader.
